The leather glove is constructed from full-grain goat leather and synthetic leather combination which makes it comfortable, durable and offers great abrasion resistance. and the synthetic suede material and microfiber and PU grip insert on the palm and thumb of the leather glove reinforces grip control. The SP-8 v3 leather glove also includes the alpinestars exclusive ergonomic stretch insert between the palm and the thumb. This allows for a good range of movement and sensitivity while operating the bike.

Alpinestars also incorporated the advanced MotoGP-derived SP dual density knuckle protector for impact protection. The SP-8 V3 Stella leather gloves are also further tested and certified for impact protection. Other features of the leather gloves include the patented third and fourth finger bridge to prevent seam failure, perforations for breathability, and a pre-shaped anatomical design for comfort. Also included is a hook and loop cuff and wrist closure for a custom fit. Plus, it has a touchscreen compatible finger tip on the index finger and the thumb.
