The Shoei X-Spirit 3 is equipped with newly developed flat shield CWR-F. The side exhaust outlets improve hot air expulsion and excels in the tucked racing position, even behind windscreens. It has dual layer/multi-density EPS liner and varying foam densities for enhanced impact absorption. Cooling air is channeled through tunnels in the EPS liner that are precisely placed. Also, it has E.Q.R.S (EMERGENCY QUICK RELEASE SYSTEM) which allows medical personnel easy access to the head and can safely remove cheek pads from the helmet. In this way, the helmet can be gently removed from the injured rider's head and has minimal load on the neck during removal.

Moreover, what's interesting is that the racy look has not come at the cost of comfort. While the aerofoils make the styling aggressive, it's not over the top. The little wings have a purpose too – to control airflow and boost stability at high speed. It has multiple spoilers and baffles for excellent aerodynamics.

The X-Spirit III is a proven race weapon for those who aren't willing to sacrifice a single detail when it comes to high-end performance. The helmet is super-lightweight with a premium high strength shell for optimum MotoGP level protection. Dual-Layer/Multi-Density EPS Liner for an enhanced impact absorption. It is achieved using varying foam densities and the precision aligned channels allow cooling air to travel unrestricted through multiple tunnels.

Additionally, the shield lock mechanism which avoids unexpected opening of a shield, locks a shield not only by clasping the hook, but also by holding a shield from outside using a sliding lever. The Tear-off Button Ratchet type is equipped with optional tear-off films and was newly developed with built-in easily adjustable eccentric adjuster. Pinlock pin is equipped on the inner side of the tear-off button, and new Pinlock EVO lens is securing a broad vision.
